A tsunami watch has been lifted for the Indian ocean, just hours after two major earthquakes struck Indonesia. The first was an 8.6-magnitude quake, that struck off the western coast of Aceh. The Search and Rescue team has located the debris of the crashed Sukhoi Superjet 100 on the mountainside in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. Two rescue helicopters have reached the site and are using nets to collect the bodies of the victims. The Russian Sukhoi Superjet-100 crashed into Mount Salak, a volcano, during a demonstration on May 9, presumably killing all the 45 people on board. A new tsunami warning has been issued. Indonesia's disaster mitigation agency is sending a rescue team to Aceh, after the quake knocked out the province's electricity and sent locals scrambling for higher ground, Reuters says.
